Well! Where do I begin? I started an engagement with Janice, mid-Covid, to develop a powerful keynote speech. I was thrilled earlier this year to be asked to address an audience of nearly 2,000 incoming university students. The speaking format was something totally new to me, and because I wanted to 'knock it out of the park' I contacted Janice. My previous training in public speaking was always done through in-person day-long workshops. Because Janice and I were in different cities, we worked together online. At first, I wasn't sure of how well an online interaction would work -- but Janice was exceptionally organized and fully present, and as a result, her online support far exceeded any training I'd previously received. I worked with Janice over eight sessions in 2016 with a view to improving the effectiveness of my public speaking and reducing anxiety around presentations. While I had a long history of making public presentations, I felt there was considerable room for improvement, particularly in the area of speaking without a script or text.
